Spring Flowers

Our main entrance is bursting with colour from our beautiful daffodils. We also eagerly await our class planters to burst into bloom on the pathway.

LEAF P1 P7 Planting Experiment

P7 WW2 land army representatives visited P1 today. They worked together to carefully plant seeds and seedlings into our aeroponic growing tower. P7 pupils discussed the experiment and helped guide P1s in making predictions on growth. We will observe and measure any changes after the Easter break.

LEAF Project

P7 Eco Reps worked with pupils from P1A/B/C to measure and track growth of our bulbs. Fantastic measuring everyone and such green fingers!

Marvellous Men!

The Men’s Shed volunteers made a brilliant job of making us storage shelves for our outdoor play equipment. They were made out of unwanted pallets. We thank the team very much!

Thank you to all those who brought in items for Rag Bag recycling. I am delighted to announce that we collected 264kg!

New P5 Gardening Club 2023

Last week our Gardening Club members planted potatoes for a competition, however it was so cold they had to wrap the bags in blankets to keep them warm!

The week before they planted tomato, sprout and cabbage seeds. They look forward to caring for the plants and watching them grow.
A huge thank you to all of the adults who give up their time to teach our pupils new skills. If you know someone who would like to support with this after school club, please get in touch.

Bulb Growth

P7 Eco reps visited P3 this afternoon to measure bulb growth around the school. Look how much they have grown!
