Outdoor Learning

This week we continued with our Hallowe’en themed activities. Pupils took part in fire lighting, chalk art, clay art and outdoor games.

Senior pupils were able to use the flint and steel with ease to light their mini fires. They also created spooky clay art which is on display in the school grounds. See if you can spot them!

Gardening Club

At Harvest Assembly this week some of the pupils who currently attend Gardening Club shared their experiences of planting and growing a variety of fruits and vegetables in the poly tunnel and raised beds, with the help of Gardening Granny and her wonderful team of volunteers.

They have also made apple and rowan berry jelly and plan to make leek and potato soup with their fresh produce.
