Our Tom Thumb lettuces have germinated and two cabbage seeds!
We sowed two kinds of beans; climbers and broad. We also sowed godetia and sprouts.Next, we planted some potatoes in sacks, cleaned up the strawberry beds, tidied at the school front entrance and filled up some beds with spare compost from last year.We washed pots, seed trays and lots of tubes for putting round our leeks when the time comes. Phew!Mr Patterson invited his pupils to enter this year’s Eco School’s Pocket Garden Competition. The entries were amazing, with lots of creativity and design.

John Jackson. His design will be created, planted and observed as it grows.
John chose this design because
he has been learning about Scotland in class. He thought that it would be a good idea to represent Scotland with
nature.
