Primary 1A Eco Tidy with our Buddies

P7 Eco Tidy

P7C pupils do their bit to keep our school grounds litter free.

They are pleased to report that there wasn’t much litter to find.

Jelly Making

Pupils from the Gardening Club made their very own jelly using ingredients that they had grown.

It was shared equally into jars for them to take home and enjoy with their families.

Rag Bag Certificate

Scottish Water

Primary 7 pupils have been learning about the water cycle and the importance of not wasting water.

All pupils were invited to enter a competition to share their ideas of how they can save water.

Food Waste

Houston Primary gains its 9th Green Flag!

This is an amazing achievement and commitment over the past 20 years! A huge thank you to all of the pupils and staff who have engaged in lessons and activities about climate change this session and to Mr Patterson who supported the children in LEAF (Learning About Forests) activities.

Session 25-27 will be the time where we focus on gaining our 10^th Green Flag and the Eco Committee have already suggested some amazing events to celebrate this milestone.
