P3 Litter Pick

Eco Badge Competition

P3A used the chromebooks to help gain ideas for the Eco Badge competition. Great work!

Eco Badges

All classes took part in creating their very own Eco badge designs, as part of Fairtrade Fortnight. The winning designers are now selling their badges at our Fairtrade stall this week, spreading this very important message.

Spring is Here!

Our beautiful planters displaying vibrant blue irises are now in bloom. The bulbs were planted by some of our P7 pupils. They also decorated the planters with our HPS logo.

I’m sure you will agree they have done a great job. Well done!

Rainbow Recycling

Grace and Catherine made wonderful rainbows using scrap pieces of card from our card recycling box.

They were delighted with the end results and hope their creative skills brighten up your day.

Bird Watching

Little bird watchers from our EL&CC keeping an eye out in the nursery gardens this week from their Bird Spotting Hut

Bird Feeders

Primary 7 pupils made some fabulous bird feeders with the help of Mrs Turnbull and Mrs Whyte.

Back in September, Finlay had the great idea of collecting Rowan berries so that we could use them to feed the birds in winter. We left the berries to dry out, and have now moulded them with lard and wild bird seed to make our very own HPS bird feeders.

Great job everyone, and I’m sure the birds will be delighted with the tasty treat!
